Day 1: Saigon – Caibe – homestay at local house (Dinner)

14.00: Our Tour Guide & Driver pick you up at the hotel in Saigon, then depart to Caibe.
15.30: Arrive to Cai Be. Take a short rest after check-in at the homestay, then the balance of the day will be at leisure on your own, or take a walk around the village for more discovery of the area before dinner. Or an optional one-hour cycling tour to discover local life around the villages, then you will have another opportunity to chat, meet, and talk to local people here. It is so interesting to see a traditional house made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to make contact with them and see how they catch fish, and pick up fruits in ancestral ways in the Mekong Delta….Then have a chance to try snake wine and the others while enjoying seasonal fruit. After that, back to your homestay. The family will be your host for this evening and tell you more about the typical life in the Mekong region. Another option is to go down to the kitchen for part of the cooking class if you wish. A traditional music show, called Tai Tu will be performed by the locals after dinner in a quiet Bonsai garden while hot green tea will be served by your hosts. Overnight at local house.

Day 2: Caibe floating market – Saigon (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, you start walking on a small trail along the river to see the daily life of the locals and visit the village market which is just held early in the morning for the so busy farmers to buy things for the day. The market is also a place where you can interact with and take photos of the locals.
Afterward, you bid farewell to your hosts and take your morning boat trip to visit of Cai Be colorful floating market.

We will proceed by the visit of some local home factories such as rice paste making, rice pop corn, coco candies, longans drying processing, fish sauce & soya sauce, sewing coconut leaves for cottage proof…

The next attraction is taking a rowing boat deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and enjoying the peaceful time. Or one more option for you if you like to bike around the village on the narrow paths. Stops on the way can be made upon request for particular visits or photo-making. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River still remain unknown to many people. Visit an ancient Mandarin house dating from the last century where the family descendants will welcome you with a cup of warm green tea. Back on board the boat for a 20-minute cruise to Phu An hamlet passing by Cai Be beautiful church.
The excursion will end at Cai Be pier boat around 12.30 pm, where your own private transportation vehicle will await you.
13.00: A delicious lunch will be served at an ancient house or at a charming restaurant MEKONG REST STOP.
15:00 After that, return to Saigon.
17.00: Drop at your place in Saigon. End of trip.
